Why is the Tasmanian salmon known as Tasmanian Atlantic Salmon when Tasmania is not near the Atlantic?

I hate when we do things like this! This is because the original population of salmon Wine of the Atlantic coast of North America. In North America when the purchase is farmed either the Pacific or Atlantic. Pacific Salmon are wild and would not tolerate that are raised commercially, while the Atlantic salmon farm are usually raised and fed commercial food production fish. Wild Salmon is always healthier to eat because they contain no chemical additives and deliberately fed to them to increase the size, etc. However, you are getting the salmon can be wild caught. I hate when introducing non-commercial species, because I wonder what effect they will have on native species. In Tasmania and New Zealand, I know that deliberately introducing North American commercial fish.
