What are some things to look at a bar spinning reels?
What should I look for in a rotating spool? What are the things important that I should look for? Also, what is the small switch on the reel labeled "on" and "off"? And one more thing Is there any way to make the switch that turns right? I'm used to having to take a right from which were used for a push-button rod before. Thanks for any help.
Well first thing you need to know what size you need. My suggestion would be to go shopping for the best price you can find. Normally Walmarts has a good combination of Ugly Stick rods with reels Mitchell on them. So far the handle when you are using a spinning rod and reel and reel guides quality while you're down. When you throw normally use your right hand to hold the line against the post and want to keep the hand clear. When a piece of fish or put the rod in a rod holder, then flip the reel back so that the handle is on the right side. There are left handed coils, but I think because you're used to having a button spool reel is normally kept at the top and the handle was always at the right.
