What is the best line of saltwater fishing? Fresh water?
It depends on your situation. I like most fluorocarbon Sometimes, as P-line. Fluoro is virtually invisible underwater, has excellent strength, low stretch and is quite resistant to abrasion. You have to be careful with the knots, however. Make sure you wet long before cinching them down. I use braid for (Cortland Muskie SPECTRON). For monofilament, I like either Berkely or Stren.
